Pablo Friedmann is the product of public schools from elementary, middle and high school to university.
Pablo is a lifelong educator and public servant. Pablo is a former high school math teacher and current district administrator.
Pablo’s career started in Durham fourteen years ago right as Student U was launching their high school program. Pablo served as the inaugural high school math teacher. Today, Pablo is the Director of Durham Public School’s Multilingual Resource Center where he leads a team to bridge the divide between families and schools.
Pablo, also, serves on the Board of Directors for Student U and LATIN-19. Former Governor Cooper appointed Pablo to serve as a member at-large on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Hispanic/Latino Affairs where he serves as the Chair of the Education Committee.
Pablo has experience arriving at decisions in consensus. Fundamentally, Pablo believes in high expectations, processes and standard operating procedures. Pablo has a broad base of relationships and experience working to provide public goods.
Pablo is running because the City of Durham should work for you and everyone else.
